FIshing Rules

Fishing is only permitted from sunrise to a half-hour after sunset.

A maximum of 2 rods per per person.

All anglers must have the required NRA fishing license and also familiarise themselves with local byelaws.

No night fishing.

No overnight camping or sleeping in vehicles.

No independent guiding is allowed (Brockhampton Fishery has its own resident who can be booked).

Barbless and micro barbed hooks only.

Fish must be fully recovered before removing for unhooking and secondary recovery before any photographs are taken.

A suitable unhooking mat or the fish placed on soft grass whilst handling.

Instructions on the day from the bailiff or estate workers must be strictly adhered to.

Wash-offs will only be granted under severe flood conditions and are at the descretion of the Fishery.

Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in the person being asked to leave the fishery with no refund available.
